Every nation sends police officers, firefighters, first responders, military members, and healing professionals into danger and suffering.
Many return carrying invisible wounds: trauma, grief, isolation, and the lasting cost of ultimate service above self. The Pathway to Peace exists for them all. To honor the Fallen. To embrace families living with loss. To restore the wounded Living.
This is a Rotary Global Grant proposal. Morristown Rotary Club, District 7475, is the applicant.
Fairleigh Dickinson University is the primary academic partner and principal grant recipient.
The grant funds a digital AI platform, deployable at Frelinghuysen and replicable at any healing site, veterans memorial, or community site in any nation. Viewable anywhere.
It requires your Club's and/or District's support.

A platform for every nation.
The Frelinghuysen Arboretum is a 127-acre Morris County historic estate, a property of the Morris County Park Commission, welcoming more than 150,000 visitors annually. It is the founding research site for the Pathway to Peace platform. QR access points bearing the Rotary emblem can be placed at any healing site in any nation, connecting visitors to the full digital experience in their own language.

The grant funds FDU's development of the Pathway to Peace platform: AI docent, veteran testimony archive, historical avatars, expert lecture series, and the governance framework that makes it clinically safe and scholarly sound.

Academic symposia on military psychology, trauma, chaplaincy, and moral philosophy.
Governance, Ethics & Documentation
Clinical safety, historical accuracy, and trauma-informed design standards governing all platform content.

Serving veterans, first responders, healing professionals, and families. The platform speaks to the individual suffering PTSD. To the Gold Star or suicide family. To the first responder carrying what the shift brought home. To the student encountering the cost of service for the first time.
Disease Prevention & Mental Health
FDU's testimony archive and impact study advance clinical understanding of PTSD, moral injury, and suicide prevention. Clinicians can assign content as a therapeutic adjunct.
Peacebuilding & Conflict Prevention
The AI docent and historical avatars bridge the civilian-military divide through direct, multilingual encounter with those who served. Former adversaries can hear each other's stories.
FDU's methodology is replicable. The governance framework is publishable. The research asset outlasts the grant period.

At the center of this community since 1922. District 7475. This grant is the Club's most enduring act of international service.
Fairleigh Dickinson University
Brings AI capability and academic depth under a signed Memorandum of Partnership. The archive, governance framework, and impact study are permanent scholarly resources.
Morris County Park Commission
By formal contract, every completed garden and all digital physical infrastructure transfers to County ownership upon completion, maintained in perpetuity.
The County owns the asset.
FDU owns the research.
Rotary carries the name.
The oral history archive, governance framework, and impact study are designed to outlast the grant period and serve institutions nationally. All significant archived assets will carry the Rotary name. Formalized with Morris County in October 2025, brought to Taipei, June 2026.
